Gelliwig Virtual Tour

Situated on the edge of  the glorious Snowdonia National Park, just a stone’s throw from the centre of the picturesque town of Porthmadog and the wide open nearby beach at Blackrock Sands, Gelliwig, our residential facility, is now open for business.  It underwent a complete renovation and refurbishment in 2020-2022 and its now open for bookings. Featuring vastly improved facilities for disabled users and a new fully equipped professional standard self-catering kitchen, we are delighted to welcome guests to Gelliwig.

 

Once again thank you to all our customers and user groups and all those who have supported the Charity over the past 30 years. The completely modernised facility now meets the standards expected of modern day users and user groups and is now set to deliver the core aims of the Charity for the next 30 years ahead!

There are a number of places of interest in easy reach of our centre, including:

 

  • Snowdon for walking and climbing

  • Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway

  • Ospreys at Pont Croesor

  • Borth y Gest and Black Rock Sands Beaches

  • Criccieth, Harlech and Caernarfon Castles and

  • Port Merion Italianate Village

  • Gwaith Powdwr Nature Reserve

Also conveniently located are supermarkets and outdoor pursuit shops ensuring groups staying in our centre are well catered for.
