Benchmark

Once RightTrack had completed preparatory work local professional tradesmen continued the upgrading.

The Designer and Project Manager helping us to realise our aims is Mark Twynam owner of Benchmark Design Build Ltd based in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. Mark was taught by John Thompson at Colton Hills School and can reminisce lesson content from his former Head of Geography teacher!

Working with Ed Barron Mark produced a two phase strategy for a scheme they had jointly created with Benchmark Design producing plans.

This is a quotation from the Benchmark web-site and whilst the end use of our building is very different we have experienced first hand the reality of it to envisage the future for Gelliwig.

It was our aim to ensure that building work was completed by local tradesmen. Paul Filby, owner of Cam- brian Electrical was contracted to do the electrical work, Porthmadog builder’s Alan Jones and David John the general Building work, Dylan Jones carpentry, Rodney Morgan plumbing and “Tich” from GSS provided the scaffolding needed.
